Hi, I'm Laura. Your VA coach, former teacher, and former overthinker turned entrepreneur.
I didn't become a VA because I had some grand five-year business plan.
I became one because I was burnt out.
I was a teacher who had started living for the weekends. I dreaded going to work, I was scared to do anything outside of school, and I knew I couldn't keep living that way.
So I started building a VA business on the side.
Eventually, I left teaching with one client and about $600/month in income.
And I figured it out.
I built a full client roster. I offered a variety of services. I grew my business to an $8k month.
And then I realized something...
I had accidentally built myself another job.
I was overwhelmed. Every second of my day felt accounted for. I didn't have time to simply exist, rest, or be a person outside of my business.
So I made a choice.
I scaled back.
I chose fewer clients. I created more capacity. And I built my business around the life I actually wanted.
And now, as a former teacher, I get to do what I love most:
Help other people learn how to build something of their own.
